Every year, the HAY Center hosts a prom readiness event for youth currently in foster care. Our goal is for youth in care to have the opportunity to participate in important high school experiences like attending their high school prom. At this event, the youth will be able to select from a large inventory of donated new and like-new formal attire and accessories. Youth are matched with a volunteer to assist them as they shop and ensure they have everything they need to feel special on prom night. On-site alterations, make-up tutorials, lessons on how to tie a necktie, and games and prizes all take place at this event as well. We could use your help in restocking our inventory. Below is a list of items that we need.  We are requesting that all donated items be in clean, new, or in like-new condition. Thanks so much for your support! Donations needed: $25. 00 Gift Cards (From TJ Maxx, Ross, Marshall’s) These gift cards will be used to purchase miscellaneous items such as undergarments and men’s belts.
